Disney World - Epcot Day 3 and 6 - World Showcase

I'm combining Day 3 and 6 of Epcot's World Showcase - such a fabulous place! I'll start out by where we had our dining experiences :-) YUM

Day 3 - Lunch -Akershus Royal Banquet Hall (Norway)
We have always loved the food at Akershus and was a bit hesitant when we visited in 2008 and discovered it had been turned into chowing with Princesses ... but we had a blast (and still loved the food, so - of course - we booked again!)

You start out with the buffet of salads, cold meats/fish and cheese.

The order a "hot" entree from a menu -- Neal's, open faced chicken sandwich

and vegetable soup.

...mine a shiitake ravioli

And Yes, Disney is very proud of their desserts!

The "official" princess is Belle, you get your photo made with her before you eat.

Then Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Ariel and Snow White come around while you eat.

Their photos later :-) they also have a princess parade with the kids and the

majority of the girls come costumed as their favorite princess and march with them - too cute!

Day 3 - Dinner - La Hacienda de San Angel (Mexico)
This is the newest restaurant in the World Showcase and sits directly on the lagoon where Illuminations is played. I'd read it was fabulous with a fabulous view, so I booked it -- we were not disappointed even though we did not have a table at a window.

Chips and Dip, anyone?

Day 6 - Dinner - Rose & Crown (United Kingdom)
We also had never had to time - in the past - to eat at Rose & Crown - we fixed that this time and it was absolutely lovely!
